🌍 Eligibility Criteria — Who Should Apply?
The target groups are Danish and international PhD students and early-stage researchers (postdocs) with backgrounds in computer science, machine learning, bioinformatics, biostatistics, epidemiology, neuroscience, or related quantitative fields in life sciences.
You are a strong candidate if you:
- Are currently enrolled as a PhD student or working as a postdoc at any university worldwide
- Have a background in one or more of these fields: computer science, machine learning, bioinformatics, biostatistics, epidemiology, neuroscience, or related quantitative life science fields
- Have a genuine interest in applying AI and data analysis to healthcare and life science research challenges
- Are able to travel to Copenhagen for the full two-week programme (August 10–21, 2026)
- Can commit to at least 80% attendance throughout the event
This program may NOT be right for you if:
- You are an undergraduate or master’s student (PhD students and postdocs only)
- Your background is entirely non-quantitative with no exposure to data or computational methods
- You cannot commit to the full two-week schedule
