🎓 About the UQ Graduate Research Scholarship 2027
The University of Queensland is one of Australia’s leading research universities and a member of the Group of Eight. Its graduate research programmes cover science, engineering, health, agriculture, the social sciences and the humanities, run through faculties and research institutes in Brisbane.

- Previous qualifications
- At least two referees. UQ contacts them directly, so don’t upload pre-written references

Files must be named in the format LASTNAME_firstname_document-name.pdf. Some schools also ask for a research proposal (verify with your school). Note for Pakistani applicants: keep HEC-attested copies of your degrees ready for later stages and your student visa.

- Find a UQ supervisor whose current research matches yours, and email them a short research summary and your CV.
- Prepare your documents in PDF with the required file names.
- Submit your EOI through UQ’s EOI page by 19 October 2026.
- Supervisor review: you should hear within about two weeks. Contact UQ if there’s no reply after four weeks.
- Informal interview, if the supervisor wants to discuss your fit.
- Submit your final application if the supervisor supports your EOI. If they decline, you can nominate another supervisor in a new EOI.
- Scholarship outcomes for the international round are released on 22 February 2027.
Practical tip: with only days left, submit your EOI now, even if you’re still waiting to hear from your supervisor. The EOI itself goes to them for review, and waiting until the last day risks missing the round.
